" I had the special opportunity to accompany Foreign Minister Westerwelle on a trip through Asia and the USA. After intensive days in Laos, our journey led us to New York – a city full of energy and contrasts. But as we arrived, the hustle and bustle suddenly changed: An unexpected snowstorm settled over the streets like a blanket of silence. Our departure was delayed, and we had to stay an extra night. The photo I took was taken in a quiet moment – shortly after the snow began to fall. I stood at the window of my hotel room, looking out at the beginning transformation of the city, and felt that special magic: the pause in the midst of the hustle and bustle, the calm in the unexpected. - Thomas Imo
